Customizing Your Theme

The VS Netflix theme offers a variety of theme options that allow you to change your Logo, theme colours, font, button style, video page layout and much more.

Theme options are found under: 

Appearance -> Customize within your WordPress Dashboard.

Additional theme options for Social Media links, Google Analytics and available shortcodes are found under:

Appearance -> Theme Options.

Custom CSS and Javascript 

Any custom CSS and Javascript can be added to your theme under:

Appearance -> Customize -> Advanced

Editing Template Files

If you need to make specific customizations to your theme that required editing template files, you will need to download and install our VS Netflix child theme from your account downloads page:

wpvideosubscriptions.com/account/downloads/

Note: If you do not use a Child Theme and edit the VS Netflix theme files directly, you will lose your changes next time the VS Netflix theme updates.

How Can I Edit Theme Files?

You should have access to all your website via SFTP / FTP. This information can be provided by your hosting provider.

You should be able to view and edit theme files within WordPress. However, this is not recommended, as it could break your site if any syntax errors are made. If you do not have access to the Editor areas of WordPress, your hosting provider may have restricted them.
