Featured Area Sliders

The Featured Video setting has been moved to Featured Area within your WordPress Dashboard. Video Sliders can now be created instead of a single Featured Video for the home page.

Featured Area sliders can now be added to other Pages as well as Video Categories / Genres.

Why can't I see my created slider on the home page?

Once you create a Featured Area slider, make sure you have also set your Homepage under Settings -> Reading within your WordPress Dashboard.

You can do this by changing the Your homepage displays option to A static page. Then, select one of your pages to set it as your home page.

After setting your Homepage, go to Pages in the left menu and Edit the page you set as your Homepage. (This will be the page with the text Front Page next to it).

Once you’re on the page editing screen, look for the Featured Area box on the right side of the screen. Open this box, select Slider, then choose a Featured Area slider from the dropdown.

Be sure to press the blue Update button in the top right corner of the screen.
